An IT Pre-Sales Engineer supports senior engineers and the sales team by assisting in customer requirement analysis, solution design, and technical presentations. This role provides foundational experience in both technical and business aspects of IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in gathering customer requirements during sales meetings.
Participate in initial discovery calls to understand client pain points.
Support sales teams in answering basic technical queries from customers.
Help senior engineers in designing IT solutions tailored to client needs.
Conduct research on new products and emerging technologies.
Document solution designs and configurations under guidance.
Assist in creating technical presentations and product demonstrations.
Contribute to writing responses for RFIs/RFPs.
Work with sales teams to develop pricing and solution documentation.
Maintain a database of technical solutions and case studies.
Complete vendor training and certifications (CCNA, AWS Cloud Practitioner, etc.).
Stay up to date on industry trends and competitive technologies.
Shadow senior engineers during customer meetings to gain hands-on experience.
Additional Information
Office Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm.
Salary is negotiable based on experience.
